At my core, I love food. For me, food is a metaphor for the good things in life. There's no substitute for the experience of sharing a great meal with great wine and great friends. Ingredients are more important than recipes. I believe in honoring the seasons and the local food economy.
A few of my inspirations are: art, travel, farms, education, seasons, worldy cuisine, the darkest chocolate, wine, farmers markets, animals, food memories, infusions, cheese, simplicity, what I am hungry for, music, colors, texture & flavors, heirloom varieties, gardens, knowledge, flowers, relationships, memorable meals, mentors, books, teaching & learning, playing with food, other foodies, empowerment & sustainabilty..................
 
I believe my role in as a chef is to make a small, but personal impact on the local food economy. It takes time and effort to care and live with awareness, but I have found it quite rewarding.  As an active member of Seattle Chapter of Chefs Collaborative, I have participated in local events such as "The Farmer-Chef Connection" and Cascade Harvest Coalition's annual fundraiser "Food Lust". Participating in such events allows me to play a humble role in the local food economy as well as support it. 
 
My mission is to leave a lasting impression on the palette from an aesthetically pleasing meal for my clients to experience with all their senses. Conscience living, dedication to the respect of nature & food, sustainable practices & my attention to detail allows me to reach this goal.

 
My clients range from anyone who loves food, those who like to celebrate the seasons of food, those who want to learn about food and food prepration, as well as those who love to entertain in their homes.
